I read somewhere , may be the punch line of any sci-fi movie , that there are only two possibilities, Either we are alone (earth) , or we are not ; and both are incredibly fearful. Given the fact, weird though, we should dig deep into the real meaning of life. I heard from my Uncle once that my grand father interviewed him before my family formally accepted them as their in-law. My uncle had lived his better part of life before that in kansas University,Doing his PhD. in US , he is a biologist and my grand father was a homeopathic doctor .He was amazed at my grand-father's rather inquisitive question , i mean he was expecting question like , how much you earn , how developed is US , likewise , but ironically he amazed my grand father in stimuli because he very well knew the answer !!
You all may be amazed as to what the question was ? , well the beautiful question which my grandfather asked was . " Doctor Sahib , You know what are the three W's ? , the essentials of life and do you follow them?".My grand father smiled ( as told by my uncle) and was ignorant at his question expecting a dumb mouth from him . But he passed the test , Well he is my uncle.See the beautiful answer he gave that took my intellectually rich family, to accolade him and accept him . My uncle said , "yes Doctor Sahib ( he addressed him by same title ) i very well know the three W's , First is wife, which i came to seek here , a simple yet flexible , smart not only by face but by heart and mouth , talented and lady of wit . Second Wine , which i do not drink , i had taken occasionally though , but never accustomed to it , and third is Wealth , which i consider is a sublime combination of money , character and respect in the society , i have earned some of it , and will strive whole-heartedly through out my life to earn my definition of wealth . "
The day i heard this from my uncle's mouth, my respect increased ten-folds for my uncle and my greatest teacher in this world , My grand father. I came to know the real definition of life . it is seeking the right combination of #3 w's.
